In recent steroids news Manny Ramirez was found to have testosterone four times the average male adult. They related his above average testosterone to a non-steroid drug called HGC. He was suspended for 50 games of the season because of this event. HGC is not a steroid but it is used after a cycle of steroids leading everyone to believe that he did steroids. It is made to re-start the normal testosterone after a cycle. He (Manny) said that he got the drug from a doctor because of a serious heath problem. That seems like a better excuse than the one New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez used when he was tested positive for two types of anabolic steroids during his years with the Texas Rangers.
